Refreshing the secure certificate used by the YOA Remote Desktop WebClient
Each year, the YourOfficeAnywhere secure certificate has to be replaced on all the servers within our remote desktop infrastructure. Customers who use Remote Desktop WebClient to launch their applications may see the following error after this change.
This happens because the old certificate is cached on the computer that is used to access the remote applications. To force a web browser to download the new certificate please see the following guides, as the process is different for each web browser;
Microsoft Edge
1. Sign into the YOA Remote Desktop WebClient portal.
2. On the keyboard, press Shift+Ctrl+I or F12 to open the browser developer tools.
3. On the Developer Tools welcome page click Network.
4. Tick the Disable Cache box, refresh the page and sign into the YOA Remote Desktop WebClient again.
5. Re-enable the cache by clearing the Disable cache tickbox and then press Shift+Ctrl+I or F12 to close the developer tools.
Chrome
1. Log into the YOA Remote Desktop WebClient portal.
2. On the keyboard, press Shift+Ctrl+I or F12 to open the browser developer tools.
3. In the Developer Tools pane click Network and tick the option to Disable Cache.
4. Refresh the page and log into the YOA Remote Desktop WebClient portal again.
5. Re-enable the cache by clearing the Disable cache tickbox and then press Shift+Ctrl+I or F12 to close the developer tools.
Mozilla Firefox
1. Sign into the YOA Remote Desktop WebClient portal.
2. On the keyboard, press Shift+Ctrl+I or F12 to open the browser developer tools.
3. In the Developer Tools pane click Network and tick the option to Disable Cache.
