If a customer requires email that is sent to a public folder to more than one person, the easiest way to complete this is to create an Exchange Distribution list in Exchange system manager and add all the required recipients to the DL.
On the public folder, change the forward to address to the SMTP address of the DL.
One caveat is to un-check the “Deliver message to both forwarding and mailbox“ as this is a DL there isn’t a mailbox associated, as this is the case, anyone sending mail to this receive an NDR from our exchange system.
